Why might there be variations in citations and RCR score with other platforms?

Citation differences will always be seen between any two platforms, as these depend on the content of the databases in question, as well as the comparative update frequencies. Sometimes small variations might be seen between Dimensions and other platforms in the RCR score for this reason. Data updates occuring at different times, and differences in the overall content of publication databases, lead to differences in citations recorded, and subsequent differences in RCR score.
